Join Us
Membership of IMNZ is divided into Full and Associate Members, and is open to both independent labels and distributors. We also provide a friends of IMNZ scheme for organisaitons that provide relevant services to our membership.
Eligibility for both Full and Associate Membership requires a majority of New Zealand ownership of the label/distributor (or parent company) and the majority of your releases must be by New Zealand artists.

The IMNZ board will ratify any new membership at the monthly meeting closest to receiving your application.
Membership fees, benefits and criteria are:
Full Member - $400 + GST
· IMNZ news and minutes emailed to you
· Invitations and/or discounts to all IMNZ events, seminars and showcases
· Voting rights and eligible for IMNZ board selection
Full Membership requires a minimum of three NZ releases (one in the last twelve months) for labels, or a catalog of 25 different NZ titles for distributors.
Associate Member - $150 + GST
· IMNZ news and minutes emailed to you
· Invitations and/or discounts to all IMNZ events, seminars and showcases
· Not eligible to vote or be selected for IMNZ board
Associate Membership requires a minimum of one NZ release for labels or self-released artists
Friends of IMNZ - $400 + GST
· Friend updates included in IMNZ’s weekly email, including any new promotions and links.
· Free entry to our ‘from the top’ seminars, IMNZ functions and events
· Organise workshops or seminars for members, or through IMNZ, invite members to your existing events
· Specific promotion area on our website to include company profile, services, logo and links.
· Promotion of your events on the events section of our website
