The fifth Jagermeister Independent Music Awards last Friday at the Forum in Melbourne. Over 1200 members of the industry and the public attended the event, which was organised by the Australian Independent Record Labels Association Ltd (AIR).

There were performances by Amity Affliction, Cloud Control, Sally Seltmann, M-Phazes (a hip hop spectacular featuring Candice Monique, Muph, Solo, Mantra and Illy) and jazz pianist Joe Chindamo.

Winnders included Cloud Control, Sultan, Little Red and John Butler Trio
