Jealous Itch
Anton and Leigh Jelicich formed Jealous Itch Ltd with the sole purpose of self promotion of Jealous Itch, the band. August 2009 saw the first album release for Henderson hard rockers, Jealous Itch, their debut album ‘Scratch’. Completely self sufficient, Anton produced the album and Leigh created the artwork for the fully self-funded cd.
Leigh manages the band and has been successful in getting the album in store at JB Hi Fi in Auckland and Hamilton, Real Groovy nation-wide and also Missing Link Records in Melbourne, Rocking Horse Records in Brisbane and Sunflower Music on the Gold Coast. Jealous Itch was successful in securing the Def Leppard support gig in November 2008 at Auckland’s Vector Arena.
Radio airplay is starting to take off with regular plays on The Axe Attack (The Rock) and The Molten Metal Radio Show (Volcano Radio CHCH). The songs also feature on numerous online radio shows both in NZ and abroad.
