A fabulous night was had by all at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards on Thursday night.

It was a particularly good night for Dirty Records, who took out all three awards that they were nominated for.

Shihad were also honored for their contribution to New Zealand Music, receiving the New Zealand Herald Legacy Award and an induction into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.  The band formed in 1988, winning their first New Zealand Music Award for ‘Most Promising Group’ in 1993. They started their career on Independent label Pagan Records followed by Wildside...both labels were founding members of IMNZ
