If you are an independent label or an independently produced band/musician there are many benefits to joining IMNZ. A more detailed description of what IMNZ does is over here, however, in summary these are some of the benefits available to IMNZ members

• An independent voice and representation with various government and music industry organisations
• Eligibility for the IMNZ charts
• Eligibility for the Taite Music Prize
• Invitations and/or discounts to all IMNZ events, seminars and showcases
• IMNZ tips sheet with label opportunities emailed to you
• Some discounts with IMNZ affiliated CD manufacturing companies and vinyl pressing plants
• Opportunities to include your label news on this website, the IMNZ facebook and twitter pages and the IMNZ weekly newsletter.
• Opportunities to list your releases/catalogs with international synchronisation licensing companies
• Monthly meeting minutes emailed to you and option to attend general meetings

To join IMNZ you just need to do the following

1) Complete and submit the IMNZ application form

2) We will then contact you regarding the application. If you fit the membership criteria for IMNZ we will ratify your application at our monthly board meeting.

3) IMNZ will then add you to our mailing lists and advise you in more detail of the member benefits. We will also invoice you the annual $150 + GST membership fee.
